Biden on Trump Fighting Words: ‘I Shouldn’t Have Said What I Said’
REASSESSING
Former Vice President Joe Biden expressed some regret for saying he would have “beat the hell out” of President Trump in high school recently. In an interview with “Pod Save America,” Biden said “I shouldn’t have said what I said. I shouldn’t have brought it up again because I don’t want to get down in the mosh pit with this guy.” Biden’s comments, which came in the context of an anti-sexual assault speech at the University of Miami, prompted the president to tweet: “Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!”
