President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani told The Daily Beast the most recent court documents on Trump's former personal attorney Michael Cohen were “pathetic.” Giuliani said they indicate the feds are “fucking angry with” Cohen and want to put him in prison “for four years.” Cohen, said Giuliani, “believe me, he can’t handle jail.” Giuliani added that he felt “sorry for him” and described Cohen's situation and his behavior as a “sad” attempt to avoid prison time. In a memo Friday, prosecutors recommended “substantial” prison time for Cohen, who they say made hush-money payments to two women who allegedly had affairs with the president in “coordination with and at the direction” of “Individual-1,” meaning Donald Trump.
