Brazil’s top federal prosecutor has charged Brazilian President Michel Temer with accepting bribes. The charges, delivered to the country’s supreme court Monday, are expected to be the first in a series of graft charges against Temer. Brazil’s lower house of congress will vote on whether to try Temer on the charges. Temer’s party believes it has the votes to block a tribunal, The Guardian reports.
