Spring’s here and with it comes warmer weather and as we all know, the line between cool and warm and cold and hot keeps blurring and morphing and confusing the lot of us. All of that makes it perfect timing for you to check out Everlane’s lightweight French Terry crew collection (not to be confused with prolific actor extraordinaire Terry Crews).
The classic design is still there because it’s a crowd favorite — in this collection, the fabric’s been replaced with lighter cotton that’s breathable and concurrently constructed into a relaxed fit. Everlane’s aim here is to give you a sweater you can wear regularly as the temperature ebbs and flows to take you all the way to summer’s edge. And really, this is a solid idea. The 50s and 60s range temperatures ask for longer sleeves and breathable cotton fits the bill so well.
The colors are great, too. My favorite is white because there’s something special about a white sweater under skies turning more and more blue. Other color options include pale blue, black ink, pale moss, and red clay (the last another strong candidate, imo).

We’re heading toward warmth but aren’t there yet — Everlane’s lightweight crew sweatshirts are the perfect go-between.
