Thai Bar Owner Arrested After Rihanna Tweets

Is anyone even going to allow Rihanna back into Thailand? Thai officials arrested a bar owner in Phuket on Monday, two weeks after Rihanna tweeted about naked dancers at the club. Authorities apparently learned about the bar after Rihanna tweeted about it, and finally were able to catch the bar owners violating the law on Saturday night. The bar owner faces charges of obscenity and operating an entertainment venue without a permit. This isn’t the first time Rihanna’s social media use on this very trip got locals in trouble: her Instagramming while in Thailand led to the arrest of two men who illegally had a slow loris, a protected primate. So is the lesson here to not let Rihanna take her iPhone in anywhere?
