3 Americans Awarded Nobel Prize for Medicine

Three U.S. researchers into the body’s daily biological rhythms have been awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine. Officials in Stockholm announced Jeffrey Hall of Brandeis University, Michael Rosbash of Rockefeller University, and Michael Young of the University of Maine were to be lauded for their discoveries about Circadian rhythms and “were able to peek inside our biological clock and elucidate its inner workings.” The trio will split a $1.1 million prize.
