William's Royal Giggle Fest

Laughing Prince

Tells his now wife: "You look beautiful."

In the run-up to the royal wedding, you could scarcely move for fashion experts telling you who was going to be designing Kate Middleton’s dress. But they all fell strangely silent when the stunning bride appeared from the Goring Hotel at 10:51 a.m. BST, despite the fact that eagle-eyed industry insiders spotted Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen helping Middleton into the car. The BBC only called the dress for Burton at 11:00 a.m. sharp, when they had official confirmation from Clarence House. According to The Guardian, the workers who made the dress had to wash their hands every 30 minutes to keep the lace clean. As Kate entered Westminster Abbey, the cameras respectfully panned away from Prince William, who seemed to suffer an attack of the giggles as his future wife made her way up the aisle.

When the couple were finally face to face, William mouthed, "You look beautiful," and a billion hearts melted around the globe. The Bishop of London Dr. Richard Chartres gave the marriage address, telling us that, “In a sense, every wedding is a royal wedding, with the bride and groom, king and queen.”He read a prayer that William and Catherine (yes, the re-branding is complete) had composed themselves, expressing the hope that as they go about the "business" of each day they would "keep [their] eyes fixed on what is real and important in life."After singing hymns, the couple went behind-the-scenes to sign the registry for a moment of privacy with their families by their sides.
