McCain Slams GOP Hopefuls’ Isolationism

Former Republican presidential candidate John McCain doesn’t approve of the new wave of isolationism rampant among current GOP contenders. On This Week the Senator said that while there’s always been an “isolation strain” in the party, now it’s final taken “center stage,” especially with regard to policy on Libya and Afghanistan. Stewart on Mainstream Media’s Sensationalism and Laziness Bias

Welcome to Sunday Talk, Jon Stewart. On Fox News Sunday, the comedian argued with host Chris Wallace whether the mainstream media has a liberal bias. “I think their bias is towards sensationalism and laziness,” Stewart said, labeling the coverage “light fluff.” Things got a bit heated when Wallace brought up Stewart’s comparison of a Sarah Palin’s bus tour video to a herpes ad. We have a feeling the political conversation will be much more complicated than that.

The Phony Lesbian Blogger

Bill Graber sure is an unreliable source. The founder of the website “Lez Get Real,” who if you haven’t heard is a straight white man pretending to be a lesbian, was grilled by Reliable Sources Howard Kurtz about what exactly he was thinking. Somehow, this whole story feels even stranger after seeing Graber defend himself on television.

McConnell: Stop Overregulating!

Sen. Mitch McConnell is over the Democratic ways of rebooting the economy. And by over, we mean he’s had enough of overregulation, overstimulation, and overspending. On Face the Nation, the Republican senator explained why it’s becoming increasingly difficult for businesses to function.
