Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1

Is the fourth Twilight movie as good as the first three? Unlike Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1, at least there’s enough plot to carry an entire movie. Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) tie the knot. She loses her virginity, gets knocked up, and gives birth to his vampire spawn, while Jacob (Taylor Lautner) sulks—and takes off his shirt.

The Descendants

His wife is in a coma from a boating accident, and he wants to bring his family together before she dies. George Clooney is already generating Oscar buzz for his soulful performance in Alexander Payne’s latest. And Shailene Woodley is this year’s Anna Kendrick, as his angsty daughter.

Cumulative scores:

Ramin: Yes, 11; No, 9Peter: Yes, 8; No, 10; Maybe, 2
