Kanye and Jay-Z Rock the Runway
Kanye West, a fledgling fashion designer himself, took to the runway to perform “Stronger” before he was joined by his Watch the Throne collaborator, Jay-Z. West was originally scheduled to perform at 2007’s show, but canceled after the sudden death of his mother. The rapper wasn’t too caught up in the moment, though: he exchanged many a flirtatious glance with Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima as she made her way down the catwalk in a superhero getup. Few can upstage the hip-hop impresarios, but we’re guessing all eyes were on the angels—at least until the two rappers did their own strut down the catwalk.

Singing wasn’t the only thing front man Adam Levine had on his agenda at the show. The Voice judge managed to sneak in a smooch for his girlfriend, model Anne V, when it was her turn on the catwalk. While singing “Moves Like Jagger,” Levine brought out his own sneaky moves: running to the end of the runway to plant one on the 25-year-old Sports Illustrated model in slow motion, no less. Being surrounded by a bevy of lingerie models: just another day in the life of a rock star.
The World’s Most Expensive Bra?
What does $2.5 million buy at Victoria’s Secret? A bra encrusted in 142 carats of diamonds, pearls, and other precious stones set in gold, to be exact. Miranda Kerr donned the aquamarine garment, dubbed the Fantasy Treasure Bra, to kick off Maroon 5’s performance. In October, the supermodel told People magazine that the bra, made by Long Island’s London Jewelers, made her feel like more than a million bucks. “I feel like $2.5 million,” she quipped. As for those interested in purchasing the bra, inlaid with 3,400 precious gems: it’s featured in the Victoria’s Secret Christmas catalog.
The Angels Get Minaj-ed
What happens when Victoria’s Secret designers get their inspiration from songstress Nicki Minaj? While performing “Super Bass,” the rapper was flanked by her own model-Minajes—the brand's iconic angels, wearing tutus and neon clothing advertising the brand’s Pink line. With her own album titled Pink Friday, Minaj was right at home closing the show with her performance.
