It's been an exciting week and a half since launching my blog here at The Daily Beast. In addition to welcoming a new audience, I've been especially gratified by the migration of the FrumForum readers, who are reconstituting their community in the comments section. As with any start-up there are glitches, and all of your feedback has been helpful. We are working hard to get the site working the way we all want it to work. Frum-Beast Editor Noah Kristula-Green has the report on some of the technical changes and improvements we will be putting into effect in the coming weeks:

We've been working with The Daily Beast to roll out the next set of improvements for the blog. Here is what we can report on the changes most in demand: Within the next couple of weeks, video should be appearing on the blog page and we should also be getting an RSS feed. We will keep you abreast of these developments and let you know once the RSS feed is live.

There have been a lot of comments that the current "collapsed post" system requires too many clicks to get through to a blog post. So that system is going to get changed.

We would like reader feedback on this: would you prefer that longer posts can collapse open so you can read the entire post on the homepage, or would you prefer for longer posts to have a link to their own page? Let us know in the comments for this blog post below.

We always read and appreciate your feedback, so please let us know what other technical improvements and changes you want to see on the blog in the comments below.
