Blaise Patrick, the 27-year old art dealer and Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry’s ex with whom he was spotted in a ‘passionate clinch’ at a nightclub last week, are no longer dating, clearing the way for Harry and Chelsy to get back together.

“That chapter of my life is over. I am now focusing on starting my art gallery,” Patrick told the Daily Mail’s Katie Nicholl at the weekend.
Nicholl reports that Harry and Chelsy ‘continue to text each other’ and says that although the two are still close, Chelsy doesn’t want ‘a full-on relationship’.
The Prince recently admitted that it’s difficult to find a partner who won’t mind accompanying him as he fulfills his royal responsibilities.
“It’s sort of: “Oh my god, he’s a prince.” But no,” Harry told CBS News. “The job that it entails—I mean look at me, I’m 27 years old. I’m not so much searching for someone to fulfill the role, but obviously, you know, finding someone that would be willing to take it on.”
If there’s anyone who knows what dating Harry involves, then it’s Chelsy; the couple dated on and off for five years before they broke up in 2009, but then they got back together again last year and attended the Royal wedding together. Ironically, it was the wedding itself which caused them to split up once again; according to friends, Chelsy was ‘completely freaked out’ by the level of attention that Kate was subjected to, and didn’t want that life for herself.
However, Harry has continued to carry a torch for his ex, and the news that Chelsy is now officially once again single will no doubt fuel speculation about the possibility of Harry and Chelsy getting back together. Friends of both Harry and Chelsy have always said that the two were miserable about breaking up, and Harry’s family were ultimately supportive of his relationship with Chelsy, who despite being something of a party girl, was perceived as a calming influence on the young Prince. Much of Harry’s wild behavior last summer, when he was photographed jumping into swimming pool in Croatia and making out with a cocktail waitress in a bar in America, was viewed sympathetically at the Palace because it was seen as a reaction to the break-up.
Talk that Harry and Chelsy might reignite their relationship has also been given impetus by the fact that the two spent several hours together locked in conversation at a dinner party at Windsor Castle for Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie’s 22nd birthday party last weekend. A Palace insider told the Sunday Express of the dinner party: “Prince Harry was there and so was Chelsy. Clearly they are still close. They appeared at ease with each other and were chatting happily together. Whether they have rekindled their relationship is anyone’s guess but they certainly seemed very friendly.”
Many friends of both Prince Harry and Chelsy maintain that the two are soul mates, and point out that Kate and William went through a lengthy courtship, complete with a break-up of their own, before they finally took the plunge. Marrying into the Firm is a massive decision for any young girl; and it may yet turn out that Chelsy has not so much set her face against such a decision, but is simply taking her time.
