One of the most anticipated movies of the summer is Prometheus, Ridley Scott’s (sort of) prequel to Alien. The mysterious trailer for the sci-fi adventure (which opens on June 8) already has the Internet salivating. Charlize Theron plays the human bad guy and Michael Fassbender is an android and intergalactic butler. Earlier this year, at Newsweek’s Oscar roundtable, Theron and Fassbender talked about making the film in London’s Pinewood Studios. In this previously unseen clip, Theron explains how Scott would show her CGI animated renderings before each take and why Prometheus fulfilled a lifetime “fantasy.” “I used to always find myself on movies with these indecisive directors,” she says. “The fantasy was Ridley would be there and he’d have six cameras and he’d know exactly what to do with them.” To which Fassbender, coming off his critically acclaimed role in Shame, couldn’t help cracking a penis joke about “a different one-eyed monster in space.”
