Kate To Take Personal Hairdresser On Tour

Hair Royal highness

Kate Middleton's glossy locks will be coiffed to perfection on her forthcoming jubilee Tour of the Pacific, because the Duchess is taking her personal hairdresser with her.

So there won't be a hair out of place on the Duchess's head as she tours Singapore, Malaysia, Borneo, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu, from September 11 to 19, details of which were released by the Palace today.

The Solomon islands and Tuvalu still count the Queen as head of state.

In Malaysia, Kate and William have been invited to join Malaysia’s King for a banquet in his palace.

On September 16 the Duke and Duchess will make their way to Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands.

After meeting, greeting and enjoying a feast with the locals, the couple will then board a traditional canoe and head to the stunning five-star Tavanipupu Private Island Resort for a romantic night – being dubbed their ‘second honeymoon’ – in the lap of luxury in one of the Island’s idyllic thatched cottages.

When the Queen and Prince Philip visited Tuvalu in 1982, Her Majesty was carried ashore in a canoe by locals.
