Yoko Ono, Fashion Designer: Yoko Ono has now turned her talents to fashion design. She’s designed an 18-piece menswear collection for hip retailer Opening Ceremony titled 1969, the year she and John Lennon were married, and coincidentally, the year that The Gap set up shop (perhaps that’s a good fashion omen?). The line hits Opening Ceremony’s New York store on November 30. [WWD]

Anna Wintour on the Election: The Vogue editor in chief, who steered many fundraising events for the Obama campaign, has opened up about the President’s re-election. “It’s very rewarding to see that money can’t buy the White House, which is what the Republicans were trying to do with all those hundreds of millions of dollars that the Super PACs were raising,” she told the Telegraph.
