Workout in Heels? A new workout called ‘Heel Hop’ is taking off in Los Angeles. The exercise course founded by Kamilah Barrett, 34, is entirely taught in high heels. “Heels are really a sport,” Barrett told the Wall Street Journal, “if you’re spending so much money on these heels, why not know how to work them?” [WSJ]
Galliano Suing Dior? Is John Galliano on the prowl for redemption against his former employer, LVMH? The former creative director of Christian Dior has reportedly appeared, “at a Paris court hearing into his suit against former employer Christian Dior Couture,” WWD tweeted this morning. Over the summer Galliano reportedly filed a claim against Dior in Paris courts for €15 million. Dior and WWD have yet to officially confirm news of Galliano’s court appearance. However, it’s crunch time at Oscar de la Renta’s studio in New York where Galliano is helping out the label out with preparations for its fall 2013 fashion show next weekend—making this an awkward time for the disgraced designer to hop over to Europe for a quick court hearing.
