Israeli Soldiers Pose in Underwear: A group of five female Israeli soldiers have been reprimanded by the military for their “unbecoming behavior” after posting photos of themselves in nothing but underwear and combat gear on Facebook. According to The Washington Post, one picture "showed the soldiers removing their fatigue uniforms to expose their underwear and back sides. In another, five women posed in what appeared to be a barracks room, dressed only in helmets and a small amount of combat equipment. The faces of the soldiers were blurred in the photos." The Israeli military released a statement saying that the soldiers have been disciplined for their actions. [Washington Post]

Oscar de la Renta on Anna Wintour: Hilary Clinton will present Oscar de la Renta with the prestigious Founder’s Award at the CFDA Awards on Monday night. But that hasn’t kept the designer from speaking openly about the organization and Anna Wintour. De la Renta, never one to watch his words, told WWD that he doesn’t quite understand what his “unique contributions” to the fashion industry are, and why he is receiving the award in the first place. He went on to encourage the CFDA to hone their focus on issues like trade agreements and global commerce. Finally, taking an indirect stab at friend Anna Wintour, de la Renta said that “a lot of people” felt that the MET Gala theme should have been grunge, and that Wintour’s florally Chanel dress for the event definitely “wasn’t grunge.” [WWD]

Job Site Only For Beautiful People: The appropriately-named dating site, Beautifulpeople.com, a site devoted to pretty people, has expanded their influence from matchmaking to the job market. Now, companies will have access to the site’s 750,000 ‘attractive’ members. Greg Hodge, the site’s managing director, said in a statement "An honest employer will tell you that it pays to hire good-looking staff." The site’s members are chosen based on a voting system, where other members decide whether applicants are ‘beautiful.’ Employers can now browse these profiles and choose beautiful employees.
