I thought we had reached the limit of 'the open letter' (especially as Miley Cyrus is probably like, 'What's a letter?') but Sinead O'Connor is not giving up.

For the feisty Irish singer has now penned a fourth open letter to the teen popster, demanding (once again) that she apologizes to both her and Amanda Bynes (despite the fact that Ms Bynes has not made any such demand herself) for mocking their mental health problems.
The fresh letter comes after Miley’s appearance on Matt Lauer’s show, in which she said, of O'Connor, "I think she's an incredible artist, I think she's an awesome songwriter, and I was really inspired by her for my 'Wrecking Ball' video, which was what started the whole thing. I don't know how someone can start a fight with somebody who said, ‘Hey, I really respect you. And I really love what you what you did.' That was kind of crazy. But as I said, I'm a big fan of hers, so it doesn't really matter."
In her new letter to Cyrus, O’Connor hones in on Cyrus’s use of the word ‘crazy’ in the interview to reiterate her demand for an apology for herself and for Amanda Bynes, “for having perpetuated abuse of both of us on the grounds that Amanda has had ‘mental health issues’ and that I experienced suicidal compulsion and was open about seeking help in order to save my life.”
Cyrus incurred Sinead's wrath when she tweeted a screenshot of a series of tweets O'Connor sent when she was having suicidal feelings two years ago, after Sinead wrote her first ‘open letter’ to Miley, which itself followed Miley’s claims to have been influenced by Sinead’s ‘Nothing Compares 2U’ for her ‘Wrecking Ball’ video.
O’Connor says in her new letter that the apology “should also involve an apology to all sufferers of mental health difficulties and all those who have had experience of suicidal feelings or who have been affected by suicide”.
O’Connor also adds that suicide is the third highest cause of death for those in the 15 - 19 age range.
O’Connor signs off her lengthy epistle by saying,
“Finally I repeat ... When it’s you the media crazy... I’ll be happy to punch their lights out for you... Which is what they deserve. They’ve gotten away with abuse of the mentally ill for too long. This IS a human rights issue.
“If the type of language used in the last week about myself and Amanda ( an innocent party) had been used about those with physical illnesses, or about gay people, or about people of different races, or those with disabilities, there would rightly be outrage. Yet there is no outrage on behalf of sufferers of mental illness or depression.”
