Each year, The New York Times Magazine unveils their breathtaking video series “Making A Scene,” featuring a coterie of the year’s finest performers showing off their acting chops in a wildly diverse array of individual short films.
This year, the series was directed by Janusz Kaminski, the longtime cinematographer to Steven Spielberg who’s won Oscars for lensing Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan. He also helmed one of the funnier Oscar night comedy sketches in recent memory, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. There are 11 short films in total, starring: Cate Blanchett, Bradley Cooper, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Adele Exarchopoulos, Greta Gerwig, Oscar Isaac, Michael B. Jordan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Robert Redford, Forest Whitaker, and last but certainly not least, Oprah Winfrey, saying lines written by everyone from Seth Rogen to Spike Jonze.
