LVMH Announces Finalists for 'Young Designers' Prize: Twelve finalists have been selected by a panel of experts to move into the finals of LVMH's new 'Young Designers' Prize. Among the chosen designers are Hood by Air's Shayne Oliver, Irish designer Simone Rocha, American duo Erin Beatty and Max Osterweis of Suno, Jacquemus, and Tim Coppens. "The LVMH Prize finalists reflect the vitality and diversity of young fashion today," the company's executive vice president Delphine Arnault said. "The singularity as well as the high level of quality of their collections particularly impressed the experts." Marie Claire Launches Pop-Up Magazine: On Thursday, fashion glossy Marie Claire launched its first pop-up magazine to be distributed by Hearst employees on the streets of New York City. The 40-page magazine, named Branché, is seen as a "younger sister of Marie Claire," editor-in-chief Anne Fulenwider said. Branché's debut issue features Alexa Chung on the cover, and will focus on style, food, culture, and nightlife of NYC. [WWD]
