Kate Middleton's St. Patrick's Day Look: After two years of wearing the same pleated Emilia Wickstead coat to the annual St. Patrickā€™s Day parade at Aldershot Barracks, Kate Middleton has finally switched things up. The Duchess arrived at the British military training academy on Monday sporting a forest green Hobbs 'Persephone Trench,' accessorized with a gold shamrock brooch by Cartier (first worn by Queen Alexandra in 1901) and a coordinating Gina Foster fascinator. Vogue UK Editor Defends Skinny Cover Models: During an interview on BBC Radio 2 between singer Lily Allen andVogue UK's Alexandra Shulman, the editor admitted that she was ā€œboredā€ with the hot-button debate as to why models were thin. Her reasoning? No one wants to see a ā€œreal personā€ on the cover of a glossy. ā€œI think Vogue is a magazine thatā€™s about fantasy to some extent and dreams, and an escape from real life,ā€ Shulman said. ā€œPeople donā€™t want to buy a magazine like Vogue to see what they see when they look in the mirror. They can do that for free.ā€ [The Telegraph]

Jimmy Choo Considers an IPO: Luxury shoe brand Jimmy Choo, owned by parent company Labelux, is reportedly interested in selling a portion of the label valued at over $1 billion. A source reveled to The Sunday Times that ā€œpreliminary meetingsā€ were being held with bankers to discuss an IPO. The sale would not alter the control that Labelux has over business and operations. [Vogue UK]
