Even before she started dating Michelle Rodriguez, the British model Cara Delevingne was one of the most photographed of London's young society set.

But now, the woman who is single-handedly responsible for reintroducing the heavy eye-brow to fashion favor, has become one of the global paparazzi’s most sought after targets, and she has finally snapped, attacking the paparazzi who stalk her every move, saying that they act like 'assassins'.

The Burberry model has been letting off steam on twitter today, tweeting today about the paps who most recently photographed her frolicking on the beach in Mexico with Rodriguez.

"I really think that it's disgusting that Paris is the only place where it is illegal for paps to follow you around," tweeted Cara, adding: "It actually took someone losing their life! Diana, an inspirational woman and then it changed but they still won't change it in London!"

Delevingne, the daughter of a society family and property developer, still lives in the Belgravia area of London, and is regularly pursued by gangs of photographers on foot and on motorbike. Last year, photographers caught her dropping a baggie of white powder outside her home as she fumbled for her keys. The unidentified substance was swiftly covered by a sneaker-clad shoe.

"It scares me because they act like they're assassins with there telescope lenses, hiding in bushes or whatever they can find," she added.

“I actually used to feel so sorry for them, how boring it must be to follow people around all the time but some of them actually enjoy it,” the 21-year old model said, “Why do celebrities get arrested for attacking paparazzi but the paps dont get arrested for harassing and stalking them?...It's horrible!! How many people have to get hurt or even killed to realise that it's not right?”

Cara concluded her self-described “rant” by saying, “You have no idea how valuable privacy is until you lose it.”
