Does Speaker of the House John Boehner suffer from “electile dysfunction”? One of his primary challengers thinks so in a slightly racy Internet video that he has posted on his website.
J.D. Winteregg, an adjunct French teacher at Cedarville University running against Boehner, who has created a spoof Cialis commercial which aims squarely at 12-term incumbent.
“If you have a Boehner lasting longer than 23 years, seek immediate medical attention,” the ad’s narrator advises.
Winteregg’s campaign website advertises the fact that he has no political experience, which could explain why he thought the You Tube video titled “When The Moment Is Right” was a good idea.
Other gems from the 1-minute video include:
“Your electile dysfunction? It could be a question of blood flow. Sometimes when a politician has been in DC too long, it goes to his head.”
“Used on a daily basis, Winteregg in Congress will help you every time the moment is right.”
And “Other signs of electile dysfunction may include extreme skin discoloration.”
According to his website, Winteregg, who did not respond to multiple requests for comment from The Daily Beast, is “100% opposed to amnesty” and “pro-life, no exceptions.” Winteregg also criticizes Boehner for “working to provide amnesty” and because he “purchased an $830,000 condo in Florida and spends little time in the district.”
Winteregg, who is one of three Republicans challenging against Boehner, is the longest of longshots in Ohio’s May 6th Republican primary and has only $25,000 on hand according to his most recent FEC report.
The only Speaker of the House to lose a bid for re-election in the past 150 years was Democrat Tom Foley, who lost his marginal district in eastern Washington in the GOP landslide of 1994.
But, if Winteregg doesn’t make it to Capitol Hill, it seems he’ll always have a future making penis jokes on the Internet.
