Well, that didn't take long.
Prince Harry’s ex, Cressida Bonas, has been cast in a new Hollywood movie, alongside that other British rose Cara Delevingne (who, as The Royalist has previously observed, are aesthetically somewhat interchangeable).
This definitely puts the kybosh on the make-up rumors, as there is no way Harry could marry a movie star.
Harry’s 25-year-old former girlfriend has, according to a report in The Evening Standard, been cast in the Harvey Weinstein-produced Tulip Fever, a 17th-century love story set in the era of the infamous tulip bubble.
"It’s so clever,” an insider tells The Standard. “They’ve cast actual models like Cara and Daisy [Lowe] to play the artists’ models and for the part of the society lady they’ve cast Prince Harry’s ex.”Hello! magazine reports that Bonas will play a merchant’s wife alongside Dame Judi Dench, Christopher Waltz, and Glee’s Matthew Morrison.
Bonas, a dance school graduate, broke up with the fun-loving fourth-in-line to the throne after two years together.
"Acting, dancing and singing is something I have done my whole life. Being part of a creative team is the best thing in the world and I feel very happy within a creative environment,'' she told The Sunday Times recently.
Tulip Fever will be directed by Justin Chadwick, who also made The Other Boleyn Girl.
