The Daily Show was on hiatus when the tensions in Ferguson, MO escalated. Tuesday night, Jon Stewart and company came back in full force, making up for lost time.
Stewart took Fox News commentators to task for asking where the media coverage of black-on-black crime was as opposed to when a police officer shoots an unarmed man. 'Why all the interest in holding police officers to a higher standard than gangs?' he asked.
The segment ends with Stewart telling a story about a black Daily Show correspondent who was harassed in New York City. 'And that s*** happens all the time.'
