5. iPhone 6 Bend Test

Design has always been a point of pride at Apple, so reports that the new iPhone 6 Plus was bending in owners’ front pockets are enough to raise eyebrows. The folks at Unbox Therapy decided to look into what was dubbed “Bendghazi.” This is what they found.

4. Children Fight About the Weather

A little boy and girl argue over whether it’s sprinkling or raining outside. Unfortunately, both parties received their information from their mommies, which calls to mind the theoretical question: What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?

The answer is that the girl sticks her finger in the boy’s face and chest, prompting him to say the words you’re likely to hear everywhere for the next few weeks: ‘You poked my heart!’

3. Fake ‘True Detective’ Trailer

If you thought that the confirmed casting of Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn would put an end to the #TrueDetectiveSeason2 hashtag, you thought wrong. The folks at Vulture have put together a great fan-made trailer using clips from past Farrell and Vaughn films—as well as some others, like The Matrix, that starred neither actor—that manages to be funny while maintaining the somber vibe of the Emmy-winning series.

2. Alaska TV Reporter Quits on Air

‘F**• it. I quit.’ Those were the last words Charlo Greene said as a reporter for KTVA TV in Anchorage, Alaska. The fact that she said them on live TV during the local news was shocking enough, but only moments earlier, she outed herself as the head of the pro-legalization Alaska Cannabis Club, right after giving a report on the group.

KTVA released a statement claiming Greene had been fired that same evening, but this video suggests that she beat them to the punch.

1. The Daily Show Calls Out Redskins Fans

Comedy Central seems to have focused its satirical lens on the Washington Redskins controversy. First, South Park returned for its 18th season with a critique on owner Daniel Snyder’s weak defense of an epithet against Native Americans as a respectful name.

Then, The Daily Show aired a segment that upset the team’s fans so much that they went to The Washington Post with claims that the show ambushed them and made them look foolish. Host Jon Stewart rebutted with a disclaimer: “If we find out that someone in a piece was intentionally misled or if their comments were intentionally misrepresented, we do not air that piece. We would not air that piece. So, that being said… I hope you enjoy the following piece.”
