President Obama responded on Wednesday to his party’s resounding defeat in the midterm elections the night before. His attempt was to be calm and conciliatory to viewers and the new Republican majority in the Senate, much like the President Obama in this video. The difference, of course, is that this version is played by Jordan Peele, and he’s accompanied by his “anger translator,” Luther.
Luther, played by Keegan Michael Key (Peele’s costar on Key & Peele), is a bit more direct in his assessment of the political environment of the last few years. It’s worth a few laughs, which it turns out is just what the doctor ordered.
