The hit podcast Serial uploaded its first season finale Thursday morning. Over five million listeners and counting are expecting or at least hoping to find out if imprisoned Adnan Syed really killed his ex-girlfriend, Hae Min Lee, in 1999—and if not, who did? It's a lot of pressure on host/producer Sarah Koenig, something she addresses in the beginning of the episode.
Funny or Die sympathizes with Koenig, imagining what it must have been like for her to record the last episode without any slam-dunk concrete answers to the central mystery. Perpetual scene-stealer Michaela Watkins plays Koenig, who frantically tries to find an ending to her story as the executives from Serial sponsor MailChimp look on. Needless to say, it does not go well.
