After he delivered his infamously awkward State of the Union response in 2009, Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA) drew instant comparisons to 30 Rock’s Kenneth the Page (as played by Jack McBrayer).

But it was another former NBC sitcom star who broke out an impressive impersonation of the Republican presidential candidate, who is polling at less than 1 percent nationally, during last night’s episode of the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Aziz Ansari, on the show to promote his new Netflix series Master of None, appeared “via satellite” as Jindal, amazed that he was really on national TV with “the famous Jimmy Fallon.”

“I’m not polling at 1 percent,” Ansari’s Jindal insisted. “I was polling at 1 percent, I’m now polling at 2 percent. That’s a 100 percent increase.”

“You ever taste 1 percent milk? It’s barely milk! It’s like drinking white water!” he continued, before presenting his new campaign slogan. “But, man, when you start dumping that 2 percent over your Apple Jacks, it’s like pow! You can taste the fat.”

Apparently Jindal himself is cool with the whole thing as he demonstrated with this attempt at a joke on Twitter Thursday morning:
