The noted pugilist (and pop star) Justin Bieber took a swing at a teenage fan from a moving car Wednesday—and left the Spanish kid with a split lip and a story to tell.
Bieber showed off a surprisingly tasty left hook after the boy—said in local reports to be a minor—touched him through a backseat open window in the car the 22-year-old singer was being driven in as he made his way to a Barcelona stadium, for the latest stop on his “Purpose” tour.
Video shows Bieber reacting with a sharp punch that makes contact with the youngster’s face.
Punching kids? He really is all man.
The boy turned to friends immediately afterward with a bloodied mouth, telling them, in Spanish, “He has just punched me,” before repeating the same sentence in disbelief to a nearby camera in a state of amazement as other fans crowd round him.
He does not look entirely displeased, however, as he regales onlookers with the story, saying: “I touched his face like this and he went, ‘Boom.’”
According to a report in the Mirror, local police said they would not be automatically investigating the incident as it was “a misdemeanor rather than a crime” and that it was up to the victim to decide whether to make a formal complaint.
Bieber famously came off the worse when he was involved in fisticuffs with actor Orlando Bloom at an Ibiza restaurant and club in the summer of 2014, after greeting Bloom with the words, “What’s up, bitch?”
