Late Monday, Ivanka Trump, a flammable scarf saleswoman turned first daughter of the United States, posted the following photo to her social media accounts:
The photo showed her posing behind the president’s Oval Office desk with her father, President Donald Trump, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hovering over her. It was accompanied by the caption: “A great discussion with two world leaders about the importance of women having a seat at the table.”
On Tuesday night’s edition of The Daily Show, host Trevor Noah, who’s been tougher than any of his other late-night comrades on the opportunistic Ivanka, weighed in on the silly photo op.

“Oh, I’m sorry, that photo shows the importance of women having a seat at the table? Your dad let you sit at his desk!” exclaimed Noah. “That’s not a woman in power, it’s take your daughter to work day. No I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely Instagram photo. I think she probably used the ‘nepotism’ filter, #WokeUpLikeThisWithARichDad.”
“And what makes this really annoying,” he continued, “is 3 million more Americans wanted a woman sitting behind that desk full-time, not just for the photo op,” before flashing the popular vote count on the screen: Hillary Clinton: 65,844,954, Donald Trump: 62,979,879.
Then, Noah shifted his focus to the diplomatic visit of Trudeau, who the comedian said is “acknowledged by people of all political leanings and sexual orientations as the finest world leader, currently.”
The Daily Show then threw to an orgy of pictures of Ivanka staring longingly at Trudeau, as Kate Middleton and a host of others have done before her.
“Can you zoom into her eyes? Look at that. You can feel it. Damn. She looks like she’s ready to risk it all. She looks like she’s considering dressing up as a Syrian refugee just so Canada will take her in, like, ‘Let me in, Justin!’” joked Noah.
That photo of two attractive people was soon replaced by one of Trump’s ghoulish cabinet, including Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller, and Co.
“And I get it, because Ivanka is an attractive, vibrant young woman, and ever since her dad became president, have you seen the troll men she has to hang out with? Look at these guys!” said Noah, before imitating the cabinet members. “Every day is like, Hi Ivanka! Hi Ivanka! Happy Valentine’s Day! I got you a coupon for a foot massage, ahhhhh!”
“Now don’t get me wrong,” Noah added, “I’m not saying these guys are ugly, but they’re definitely alt-handsome.”
