Today is officially Star Wars Day, i.e. “May the 4h Be With You,” which is all fun and games for avid fans until reality gets mixed in.
A student at Ashwaubenon High School in a suburb of Green Bay, Wisconsin took his fandom a bit too far, ABC reports.
In an attempt to look like Darth Vader, he arrived at school Thursday morning dressed in dark clothes and carrying a bag. A parent thought he was wearing a bulletproof vest and called the cops.

The entire school went into panic mode, with students evacuated and directed to different meeting points throughout the community while the school was shut down. The police did a sweep, but thankfully, found no active threat.
Their was no actual threat at the high school a student came to school wearing a Star Wars costume with a mask.

Costumes are against school rules. The principal says the student made a mistake.
A word of advice to this franchise fanatic?
Next time, stick to a movie marathon. Or excessive meme-sharing.
Nerds rejoice!!!
