If you were wondering how Hillary Clinton will spend her days post-election, you finally have your answer. On Monday, Clinton announced through email and Twitter her new political action group, Onward Together.
The last few months, I've been reflecting, spending time with family—and, yes, taking walks in the woods.

We're launching Onward Together to encourage people to get involved, organize, and even run for office. https://t.co/8exooosvZ5

More than ever, I believe citizen engagement is vital to our democracy. I'm so inspired by everyone stepping up to organize and lead.

Onward will fundraise for five progressive groups: Swing Left, Emerge America, Color of Change, Indivisible, and Run for Something. Its name is a nod to Clinton’s presidential campaign slogan “Stronger Together,” and the organization will capitalize on liberal activist growth after President Trump’s election.

People across America have made their voices heard thanks to @IndivisibleTeam, and supported @swingleft's efforts to take back the House.

.@IndivisibleTeam @swingleft @ColorOfChange @EmergeAmerica @runforsomething @GovHowardDean This year hasn't been what I envisioned, but I know what I'm still fighting for: a kinder, big-hearted, inclusive America. Onward!

Clinton wrote in her email: "I believe more fiercely than ever that citizen engagement at every level is central to a strong and vibrant democracy."
The internet response to Clinton’s news was lukewarm.
I read "Onward Together" as "Owned Together" and honestly, that's probably more accurate

Regretfully went on HRC's "Onward Together" site… the only available option is to sign up to an email list, after which she asks you for $ 😒
— Trump's a Fascist (@williamlegate) May 15, 2017
If you give $25,000 to Onward Together they send you an email telling you why the group exists. At the $50,000 tier it's that and a button.

@HillaryClinton Resistance isn't enough. We need a Revolution! Onward Together is the neoliberal opposition to the Revolution. We will not be fooled.

For some reason I think it's less "Onward Together", and more "please don't leave me behind, y'all!"
