Since tweeting remarks her own Breitbart colleagues allegedly called “appalling,” Breitbart writer Katie McHugh has reportedly been fired from the right-wing site. “There would be no deadly terror attacks in the U.K. if Muslims didn't live there,” McHugh tweeted Saturday following a terror attack in London that killed seven people and injured dozens more. McHugh continued tweeting throughout the evening as news of the London attack continued to unfold, asserting “liberals don’t believe Muslim migration makes the UK better,” and responding to replies, tweeting to an Iranian-American actor Pej Vahdat “You’re Indian” after he tweeted at her, “You’re a real moron.” Her departure was announced by Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow Monday morning. McHugh’s social media history includes racially derogatory comments attacking various cultures, including one tweet asserting “Mexicans wrecked Mexico.” She has previously supported ending Muslim immigration, and repeatedly references “Islamic terrorism” on Twitter, asking, “How many more people need to die because Muslims find it convenient to migrate to Europe?”
