LGBT activist, and trans-woman, Caitlyn Jenner broke her silence on President Trump’s tweet announcing that he will reinstate a ban on transgender people from serving in the military. Jenner took to her own Twitter on Wednesday afternoon, writing: “There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the US military fighting for all of us. What happened to your promise to fight for them?” The ban was supposed to be lifted July 1, then was delayed to January 1, 2018, based on a policy enacted by former President Barack Obama. Previously, Jenner told The Daily Beast, “My loyalties are not with Trump. My loyalties are not with the Republican Party. My loyalties are with my community, and to make it better for my community.”
