James A. Fields Jr.'s former history teacher told the Washington Post the alleged murderer of a protester in Charlottesville, Virginia idolized Adolf Hitler. “It was obvious that he had this fascination with Nazism and a big idolatry of Adolf Hitler,” Derek Weimer said. Fields, 20, attended high school in Kentucky before moving back to Ohio. Fields was reportedly listed as active duty in the U.S. Army for less than four months in 2015.
