Probably not the reception they were hoping for: Nokia shares fell as much as 10 percent after the ailing phone maker announced it was partnering with Microsoft to use Windows Phone 7 on its products. Previously, the company had been using its own platform but was losing ground to Apple's iOS and Google's Android. Nokia owned 50.8 percent of the smartphone market when the iPhone launched in 2007; now its share is down to 27.1 percent.
