Human corpses, black lungs and rotting teeth were among the graphic new images unveiled by the Food and Drug Administration Tuesday. The FDA's nine new cigarette-warning labels also include statements like: "Smoking can kill you.” The move is part of the agency’s new powers to regulate the tobacco industry. Fifty percent of a cigarette package must now be covered by the warnings, as well as 20 percent of any sizeable smoking ad. The labels will be in place by September.
