The New Yorker piece, meanwhile, featured a hilarious anecdote about her controversial husband, Marcus, who asks the reporter what it means to be called a “silver fox.” “Oh, don’t tell me it’s something gay!” Marcus says. “Because I’ve been called that before.” When told that a silver fox is an attractive, gray-haired man, Marcus responds, "O.K., I can handle that."
