TMZ published a photo on Friday purporting to show a very ill Steve Jobs, but commenters at the website Reddit point to evidence that the image is a fake. There are signs that the image was pinched to make Jobs look more frail; that parts of the image have been cropped; and that some of the shapes in the image are unnatural. The Daily Beast briefly linked to the image on TMZ but removed it after learning that it was dubious.
