Newt Gingrich fought his way to the top of the Republican presidential field the old-fashioned way: making fun of hippies. “Go get a job, right after you take a bath,” Gingrich advised Occupy Wall Street protesters as he spoke to a Republican crowd in Iowa Saturday. Gingrich attacked the protesters, saying they “start with a premise that we all owe them everything.” He continued, “They take over a public park they didn’t pay for, to go nearby to use bathrooms they didn’t pay for, to beg for food from places they they don’t want to pay for.”
