More proof Mitt Romney is already looking toward his general-election campaign: the former Massachusetts governor released his first ad attacking the president, and it’s already sparked controversy for misleadingly chopping off a line from Obama’s speech. In the speech from the 2008 campaign Obama said, "Senator McCain's campaign actually said, and I quote, 'If we keep talking about the economy, we're going to lose.'" The Romney ad snips the line down to “If we keep talking about the economy, we’re going to lose”—making it appear as if Obama were referring to himself and the Democrats. The ad will run in New Hampshire starting Tuesday.
