Tonight on Nightline, Cynthia McFadden goes deep with Madonna, talking about everything from Madge’s kids to her much younger boyfriend, Brahim Zaibat. McFadden also asks the question that allegedly “blew up” the internet: What she actually thinks of Lady Gaga. But you don’t have to wait until 11 pm to see Madonna throw some celebrity shade Gaga’s way. Madonna talked to Newsweek/The Daily Beast’s Jacob Bernstein for an upcoming profile appearing January 30 in Newsweek, and said that when she heard Gaga’s single "Born This Way," she certainly was surprised at the structural similarities to her 1989 hit “Express Yourself." “I thought, What a wonderful way to redo my song. I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was…interesting.” So it’s a diva smackdown. Almost. Madonna’s new movie, W.E., hits early February and will be followed by a performance at the Super Bowl and a new album that drops in the early spring. Madonna will also be on tour this summer. Presumably without Gaga.
