Barack Obama may be trying to avoid joining his potential competitors in back-and-forth digs, but that doesn't mean his friends have to do the same. Obama's senior campaign strategist David Axelrod tweeted a picture of the president and his dog in a car, together with the caption "How loving owners transport their dogs." Axelrod was referring to a controversial Romney-family road trip to Canada during which their dog was strapped to the roof of the car.
