The former Florida governor is making media waves as he drops hints to various outlets that he’s dissatisfied with the talent his party has fielded for 2012. He said that the race thus far has been a circus of partisan bluster and saber-rattling that’s left him to do some soul searching: “I used to be a conservative, and I watch these debates, and I’m wondering, I don’t think I’ve changed, but it’s a little troubling sometimes when people are appealing to people’s fears and emotion rather than trying to get them to look over the horizon for a broader perspective, and that’s kind of where we are,” Bush said, according to Fox News. George W’s kid brother has raised hopes he’ll run for the nomination among conservatives bewildered by what’s been seen as the GOP’s ideological disintegration over the past year.
