The world’s major industrialized economies are urging Europe to take “all necessary policy measures” to prevent further financial collapse, according to a draft communique obtained by Reuters. Europe’s economic crisis is the focus of the G20 summit in Mexico this year. President Obama has requested a meeting with European leaders Monday night to discuss the victory of Greece’s pro-bailout New Democracy party and the continuing economic crisis.
