Does it count as cheating if you’re copying your own homework? Seems it does. Science writer Jonah Lehrer apologized today for recycling previously published writing for his blog at The New Yorker. Lehrer came under fire Tuesday when it was discovered he’d copied parts of a previous article in The Wall Street Journal for his New Yorker blog. Within hours of the discovery, journalists tracked down numerous other instances of Lehrer recycling his work for different publications. The author of Imagine: How Creativity Works apologized for his actions saying, “It was a stupid thing to do and incredibly lazy and absolutely wrong."
