Gabby Douglas became the third consecutive American female gymnast to win the all-around competition at the Olympics Thursday, securing the gold medal over Russian rivals Viktoria Komkova, who won silver, and Aliya Mustafina, who won bronze. Team USA’s other competitor, Aly Raisman, finished fourth, after tying for the bronze with Mustafina and losing a tiebreaker based on execution score.
