The Barrett-Jackson Auction Co. in Scottsdale, Ariz., sold the 19-foot-long car to a bidder whose name has not been released. The Batmobile was actually a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car that was transformed for the television show. A publicist said that the car’s previous owner was pleased with the auction result.
