This isn’t even subtle. After decades of funding conservative activists, think tanks, and candidates, Charles and David Koch are interested in buying the Tribune Company’s eight regional papers. The papers, which include The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Baltimore Sun, The Orlando Sentinel and The Hartford Courant, would give the brothers a massive platform to spread their small-government policies.
